Real places. Real months. Honest odds.

Most conservation sites tell you an animal is disappearing and stop there. This one shows you on a map where it still is — and where it isn't.

What "odds" means here. The chance of at least one sighting over a properly guided multi-day trip in the right season — not a day trip. Operators quoting 90 per cent for snow leopards are quoting their best-ever season. A realistic well-run 10-day Ladakh winter trip lands somewhere near 50 to 70 per cent. Under-promising is a feature.

What you will never find on this page. Cub-petting, walk-with-a-big-cat experiences, and photo props. They sustain a breeding cycle that produces surplus animals, they habituate cats to humans irreversibly, and they contribute nothing to wild populations. No ethics filter setting will reveal them, because they are not in the data.
